Our Community

Welcome! We are the Heffley Lake Community Association, and we are so glad you

found us!

Over the years, our Association has championed many projects and initiatives in the area, raised funds to support the safety and protection of our natural resources and community members, and liaised with private and public sectors to bring more services and resources to our community.

We have several active stewardship committees and we meet on a regular basis to discuss issues, concerns and initiatives to help enhance the lives of our our community members.

Our Community

Heffley Lake is a relatively narrow reservoir with an abundance of shoreline, attributed to several various-sized bays and multiple islands. These complexities offer high quality habitat for an abundance of fish and wildlife species, including an array of water fowl.

We are so happy that we have the privilege of sharing this beautiful lake with all these wonderful flora and fauna. The lake is enjoyed by many canoe enthusiasts, kayakers, "SUP"ers, small motorized watercrafts, and the odd turtle or loon basking or resting in a safe place.

Our Mission

The Heffley Lake Community Association aims to provide representation for its community members on matters relating to the protection, preservation and utilization of natural and social resources within the Heffley Lake area.

In doing so, we hope to enhance the lives of our members by doing our part as stewards of the environment, so that we can all enjoy the natural beauty this area has to offer for many years to come.

We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of members and supporters like you. Thank you for your support and trust!

Boating Safety on Heffley Lake

The Heffley Lake Community Association has funded the purchase of signage that has been installed at the boat launch, which outlines boating safety as it pertains to our lake, per the map, above. Information included on this signage is in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, and is important to ensure all user groups can continue to enjoy the lake, alongside our wildlife friends that also call this place home.
